Finding ways to stop smoking?

Many people who smoke say they would like to quit, but looking for ways to stop to facilitate smoking irritability, reduce withdrawal symptoms and make it easier for them to stop smoking. Changing behavior is one way to stop smoking who has worked for many people. So what is the behavior modification anyway? It includes:

  1. Identify the triggers that make you want to smoke

  2. Find other ways to cope with these triggers

  3. Avoiding places, activities or people you associate with smoking

  4. Creating new habits or routines that are not connected to your old life as a smoker

These changes will help relieve the symptoms weaning, while giving you the assurance that you have a plan in place, and help you break the link between smoking and mental health of your daily activities.

Something many people have done to help them stop smoking is to find what it costs them to smoke and plan what to do with money saved by not smoking. Just think, if you spend $ 5 per day for cigarettes after a year you would have saved $ 1,825. You should be able to think of something good to do with this money, right?

It may be difficult to stop smoking, so be prepared by choosing one of many ways to quit smoking is good for you. Commit to quit smoking and get your whole game plan. Stick to your decision to quit, no matter what happens. Quitting smoking may well be one of the greatest achievements of your life.

I tried acupuncture one time to stop smoking and wasn’t very impressed. It did get rid of my headache, however :-) . Seriously though, there are better ways.
