Adderall prescription and marijuana?
I have an appointment with a doctor to see if I should make a diagnosis of ADHD. I know a common among adolescents is diagnosed substance abuse because of its temporary relief of symptoms of ADHD, and I am an example of this, especially with marijuana, I smoke that often and do not see myself stopping. But the reason I smoke so ADHD is fueled by my, if I am prescribed ADHD drugs, I do why my dependence on it would not improve. Should I talk about drugs, because it is also evidence of my diagnosis, or should I not talk at all because the doctor will be less inclined to prescribe me a drug to abuse?
You should talk. Without all the information MD will make mistakes. Pot does things very differently in the brains of Adderall. In fact pot works probably contrary to the Adderall. So Again, full disclosure works best. Dr.Chaz
