How do I cope with exercise and asthma?
I go to the gym almost every day, but after about 20 minutes my asthma gets really bad and I'm dizzy and I have to stop and pause and then, after my one hour session I get a big headache for hours. Im 25 and had bad asthma all my life Take & Qvar Drug Ventolin I mainly use the treadmill, rowing machine and weights and drink plenty of water always I do not smoke can not catch my breath
You have a right inhaler? I had Exercise-induced asthma my whole life right now I'm 18, I'm running on a treadmill three days two weeks miles and I just take my inhaler before the race and I'm fine. If you use very quickly, then try to bring the intensity down and just stay at a steady pace so you can control your breathing better. Also, try breathing through your nose, I noticed that helped me. When I blow on my mouth I felt sometimes a lot of pressure on my chest and lungs, so I tried breathing my nose as much as possible and that helped. It may be difficult to try to do as much as you can if it helps.
