Americas Droughts are causing major water shortages

Not that many people left that you say about the serious consequences that many people in the Midwest States suffered when there was a drought that has lasted years ago very little during the first third of the twentieth century. People everywhere have found that their farmland literally dried up and turned to dust in the wind. It was almost like a phenomenon. Year after year, these farmers have waited for the relief of the Dustbowl that their land had become.

This year, the The Midwest had something, but a drought. They were continually bathed week week, and instead of their fields dry up and cities, quite the opposite was true. Everywhere you look in the State after state, there were fields new crops that have been flooded beyond hello. It is a year where they were praying for the rain to stop for a time.

Now, it is States Southeast that have experienced droughts in recent years and they still have not had a great relief. Although it appears that most states have received slightly more rainfall than they did last year, places like Georgia are still with overdue amounts of rain. These droughts in recent years have caused streams, lakes, and even some river flows all but dried up completely. Many residents have experienced serious shortages of water and tourist spots such as Lake Lanier in Georgia have suffered because of low water levels.

When states are suffering severe droughts like those that have taken place in recent times, several times the limits or restrictions are placed on water use outdoors. This is to ensure that there will be enough water for drinking and water is necessary for more important things than washing cars and watering lawns. Georgia has even tried to have the state line redrawn Tennessee where she met to access more water. Georgia has also sought to stop allowing as much water to flow downstream in Florida.

You know things are bad when states want to start traveling around the borders of one state to another and limit the amount of natural flow of water from it to another state. Northern California has considered the same thing to limit the amount of water flowing downstream in their state to Southern California. It must be really bad, when part of a state is unwilling to share water with the rest of the state.

Hopefully there will be more drought relief in the near future. Other States who have also experienced droughts recently in Arkansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Virginia and North Carolina and South. Living the drought continues This wide distribution will be felt over time and we just hope that this will not last very long.
