I saw a billboard adverising a way to quit smoking by some sort of inner ear therapy. (I think). Anyway, I have googled:

I cant find any information on this procedure. Does anyone know what it is called or a website offering information on this procedure?

You're probably looking for information on something called "Auricular Therapy." This is insertion of needles or small beads onto acupuncture points in the ear that relate to specific parts of the body. It is frequently used for quitting smoking and weight loss.
