Break Your Cigarette Smoking Habit The Easy Way with hypnosis
Quitting smoking is really a necessity at this stage of history, because that smoking cigarettes was banned from restaurants and other public places. And in fact, it is certainly the smart thing to do for more reasons that good health alone. This editorial explores hypnosis and NLP methods that can best be used to make it as painless as possible to break the dependency to smoking.
There are 3 parts to individual addiction to cigarettes. Two of these elements are mental, and one part is physical.
Part A: YOU SMOKE FOR relaxation and pleasure.
When you were a baby and you got excited, your mother would put a nipple in your mouth to calm you. Want to get distracted, become calmer and often sleep. This scenario was repeated many times, both times your unconscious mind was programmed: When something goes into your mouth, you get relaxation and pleasure.
Now that you're an adult if you feel anxious or stressed, you feel like something in your mouth for relaxation and pleasure - a smoke!
Part B: Smoking is a conditioned response.
Remember Pavlov? It rang a bell whenever he fed his dogs. After some repetitions, all he had to do was ring the bell, which would trigger the dogs to salivate.
When you associate smoking with other action, the other action will trigger cravings for a cigarette and a desire to light a cigarette. This is called a conditioned response.
For example: If you smoke when you see someone smoking, you will automatically get a craving every When you see someone else smokes.
Here is exactly how this conditioned response gets programmed into your subconscious: If a person smokes a cigarette and, simultaneously, drink a cup of coffee, the mind takes a snapshot of the cigarette in his hand, and attaches to cup of coffee. Thereafter, whenever the person has a cup of coffee, her subconscious fills in the missing part of the image. It flashes an image of a cigarette and the smoker gets an urge for a cigarette.
You may not be aware of the mental image of the cigarette, because it may be that level of the unconscious mind. Like you're not aware of what you see through your peripheral vision until someone or something catches your attention. But the image is there, creating a desire for a cigarette.
Part C: There is a physical addiction Nicotine, but. . .
I have worked face to face with thousands of smokers and I give you my assurance that the physical dependence to tobacco is the weakest part of the addiction to cigarettes. In fact, I believe that only ten per cent of tobacco dependence. I think that 90% of the length are the mental and emotional parts! (Parts A and B).
HERE'S WHAT THIS MEANS TO A SMOKER WHO WANTS TO QUIT.
When you eliminate the feeling voltage that pushes a smoker to smoke a cigarette to create relaxation and pleasure (Part A). . . and when you erase the conditioned response of feeling compulsions cigarettes when a cup of coffee, driving, or after a meal, etc. (Part B). . . then you can quit without having the will and without have to suffer withdrawal symptoms or weight gain.
Hypnotism can help trigger a smoker to quit. Hypnosis, will be easy to quit because he takes care of Parts A and B! Here's how:
Part A is where smokers light up a cigarette-to relaxation and pleasure. It is your thoughts that create feelings of stress. Specifically, people constantly run mental movies in the eye their mind. If the movie is negative, it causes a feeling of stress.
We can use different methods of NLP and hypnosis to program the subconscious to quickly and easily take those stress producing mental images, and quickly exchange them for relaxation producing mental images of films. This relaxation inspiration and enjoyment, and eliminates the stress that triggers impulses and compulsions oral for a cigarette.
For the elimination of tension, smoking is to quit does not know the stress or the need to substitute food in place of cigarettes. Then, without leaving the weight gain is possible.
Part B is where the light-up smoking because smoking becomes a conditioned response to many activities and locations. Remember in the earlier example how smoking became unconsciously associated with other activities and environments so that each time you enter in that activity or environment, the mind flashes an image of a cigarette, and the image of smoking triggers an urge to light-up?
There are low hypnosis stop smoking, stop smoking and techniques of NLP that can quickly eliminate those conditioned responses in such so that your subconscious will lose the cravings for cigarettes, and the compulsion to smoke. In fact, you can even get a compulsion to reject cigarettes.
In Brief
In summary, using certain NLP methods, it becomes very easy to quit smoking without withdrawal or weight gain. And many these methods do not even require the post-hypnotic suggestions. They depend on programming the subconscious to use the same thought process that the unconscious is used to create the addiction to cigarettes, to eliminate the mental addiction.
